There were so many Canadian Tuxedos at yesterday’s Gay Pride Parade in Los Angeles that we lost count. We did manage to snap a couple guys draped in denim while waiting for Grand Marshall Johnny Weir to pass them by. We were hoping to see more rainbow denim, but beggars can’t be choosers.
We spotted this guy while chasing away the June Gloom blues with some amazing Dark n’ Stormy cocktails at The Village Idiot in Los Angeles. Josh Tomme was kind enough to let us snap this pic of him in this dope denim on denim creation. Josh is here in a Levi’s jacket and Them jeans. He assures us he looks even hotter in his lighter wash denim jeans. Hopefully we’ll run into him again soon and find out!

Rowe Boutique owner Maren dolled her up in Genetic denim jacket and cut offs, Jeffrey Campbell clog boots, Hat Attack raffia hat, We Are Owls aztec scarf and Jesslyn Blake leather crossbody bag. My office away from home, Starbucks on Melrose, is bustling with writers, hipsters, celebs (recently seen: Brad Goreski, Kristen Chenowith, Christina Hendricks), and of course, Canadian Tuxedos. Today I spotted three! Of course I forgot my phone, but trustee intern Amanda Bebout was armed with hers, so I was able to snap a shot of this lovely lady in Diesel jeans and a Guess jacket.
What’s up with all these people from Ohio? Katie Holmes was pictured (again) in a Canadian Tuxedo yesterday at Urth Caffe in Beverly Hills. She’s all over this denim on denim craze. Keep it up, gurl.

ATTENTION Columbus: There has been a denim invasion in the Capital City!!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, my hometown is DOPE! Yesterday Jeni’s sent us a pic of one of their own draped in denim. Today, Maren Roth, owner of another Columbus institution, Rowe Boutique, sent us this of her boy Kevin. Love the differing denim colors.

Leave it to the DOPEST ice cream company on the planet to send us a picture of one of their own draped in denim. If you don’t know Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, it’s time to get your learn on. The Columbus-based company creates ice creams that make them “see million year old stars,” has shops throughout Ohio and in Nashville, Tenn. (home to denim label Imogene+Willie). If you’re not in those areas, worry not: Jeni’s offers delivery throughout the US. The order I got sent to LA last month arrived rock hard. 
Jemaine Clement we LOVE you! This guy rocks Canadian Tuxedos as frequently as dope dudes Ralph Lauren and Dan Auerbach. We are going to have to go through all the episodes to see if there is on where Jemaine isn’t wearing one.
Thank you Sally Hansen. Now we can be in denim head to toe … nail! I found these new Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips at CVS last month, and was reminded about them today when NYLON posted about them on Facebook. I still haven’t tried them out, but The Budget Babe gave them a rave review!
