This biker and his pal joined my dog and me in the shade one hot, sunny day in Los Angeles. He’s seen here keeping it real in Levi’s jeans and top, while showing a softer side, bonding with my Yorkie, Rocco.

I think this guy is my denim and dog soulmate. This is Mark Avery, who we met last year at the same Starbucks in a different Canadian Tuxedo. Mark is seen above rocking some very cool LA brands you should check out including: a denim jacket by Mister Freedom, henley from Rising Sun & Co. and jeans by Simon Miller. Pictured with Mark is his yorkie, Twiggy. Don’t you think Twiggy and my baby Rocco would make the perfect couple?
My girl, LaRae Carmen, was shaking away her Case of the Mondays in this Canadian Tuxedo at the Express home office in Columbus, Ohio. LaRae was repping her employer well dressing head to toe in Express (coffee by Starbucks). There’s still time to pick up your pair of Express denim 40% off today.
Walking home from Starbucks last Sunday, I spotted this lovely lady working the double denim. Pictured above is Julia in a denim top she picked up at Nordstrom, a Brandy Melville tee and jeans by Abercrombie & Fitch. You can catch Julia’s musings on her tumblr account here.
Dominican pop sensation Kat Deluna was seen in denim cutoffs and a jean jacket at Starbucks in Beverly Hills.
I had the pleasure of meeting Edward Diaz while grabbing my morning coffee at Starbucks in the Melrose District. Diaz, who works at the neighboring V/Nus, is seen here in a summery Canadian Tuxedo consisting of a Stapleford chambray shirt and white 511s by Levi’s.
Joe Jonas may be giving Justin Bieber a run for the money in the double denim race. Here he is again, sipping on some Starbucks in a Canadian Tuxedo.
It’s always a great day for a Canadian Tuxedo.
Just thought I’d share that I’m wearing a Canadian Tuxedo today… Denim on denim. And, I’m loving it. Also, I just stood up in the middle of Starbucks to take this picture. Let this be a warning to you — blogging is a very quick downhill slope to shameless public picture-taking.
(happy birthday to the most fashionable girl i know, who could surely rock an actual canadian tuxedo like it was no thang. you know who you are.)
I caught my reflection in the window of Starbucks on Melrose and Stanley in Los Angeles this morning. The girl behind me has to think I’m a bigger narcissist than I actually am. Here I am (holding my prize pooch Rocco) in vintage Levi’s cutoffs and my denim Gap jacket from high school (guess that would be considered vintage, as well), Splendid circle shirt, Gucci bag and TOMS gold herringbone shoes. Fedora from a street vendor in Venice. Minutes later, I was Punk’d on Break.com. More on that …
