Even without his robe, Kevin Lee Light looks angelic. I ran into long-time pal and subject of another one of my blogs I Saw Jesus in LA at the Sunset Strip Market in West Hollywood last Thursday night. While Jesus was out and about in his plain clothes, I stuck to my denim on denim uniform: James Jeans Twiggy denim leggings in coral I picked up at Rowe in Columbus, Ohio and my Gap jean jacket I still have from high school.
Good news for fans of both my sites: Kevin informed me he just got a denim Jesus robe. Can’t wait to see that look.

I actually spotted a few Canadian Tuxedos when I was at Rowe today – thank you James Jeans trunk show – but this adorable double denim ensemble rolled in right after I left. Fortunately Owner Maren Roth snapped a photo and sent it my way. Here is Queair in Levi’s jeans and a denim thrift shirt. Our dear friend Maren Roth of Rowe Boutique fame has once again submitted a picture of one of her fashion-forward friends. This time of Kyle Widder rocking a Canadian Tuxedo (or as they are pushing to call it in my hometown, the “Columbuxedo“). Kyle is pictured here in a Dakota Grizzly shirt and Levi’s jeans. I’ve been here a whole week and haven’t seen a one. I blame the terrible weather, forcing everyone to cover their double denim with heavy, waterproof coats.

Rowe Boutique owner Maren dolled her up in Genetic denim jacket and cut offs, Jeffrey Campbell clog boots, Hat Attack raffia hat, We Are Owls aztec scarf and Jesslyn Blake leather crossbody bag. ATTENTION Columbus: There has been a denim invasion in the Capital City!!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, my hometown is DOPE! Yesterday Jeni’s sent us a pic of one of their own draped in denim. Today, Maren Roth, owner of another Columbus institution, Rowe Boutique, sent us this of her boy Kevin.
