Canadian Tuxedo at Levi’s Pre-Grammy Party

While the Internet’s a blaze with Grammys fashion buzz, we’re still drunk in love with this little number spotted at the Levi’s Pre-Grammy Party we spotted at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday night. Pictured above is Christa Jayne of Fashion or Famine in vintage Levi’s 501s, H&M denim top and some sexy stems by Pour la Victoire.

Thank you, Levi’s, for a one-of-a-kind night, which kicked off with Diplo joined by Skrillex. Good move warming up the crowd, because next up was an epic Snoop Dogg show complete with performances by OT Genasis, Too Short, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Chaka Khan and Pharrell.

Forgotten Canadian Tuxedos From Coachella

Gah! All that waiting online Friday for passes to Coachella 2015, reminded me I had spotted a few last month at Coachella 2014. I can’t imagine how I could’ve forgotten …

Larry (pictured above) braved the crowds with his broken leg/wheelchair in a Zara jacket and H&M Jorts.

And apparently I ran into Shaun Cruda who’s rocking a Levi’s jacket, H&M top  and a Jesus piece (apparently I failed to note who made the shorts) in what looks like the Gobi Tent.

Holy Sh*t with this Canadian Tuxedo

Can you say PARTY IN THE BACK? OK, so I’ve been somewhat uninspired with this blog and the Canadian Tuxedos I find around Los Angeles. That is until last night, when this magical display of denim appeared at the new Plan Check Kitchen + Bar on Fairfax. Meet Sean Cabezas, who’s seen above in Levi’s jeans, Sperry slip ons (not the denim ones?), an H&M button down, Zara hat and the pièce de résistance: Sean’s dad’s vintage bedazzled denim jacket with a pinned on patch he had made from his favorite film Eyes Wide Shut. Color me inspired.

Canadian Tuxedo at Soho House West Hollywood

Last night  I managed to sneak a photo of songwriter and producer Michael Linney at Soho House West Hollywood. Mr. Linney is looking dapper in his all-denim ensemble made up of Zara jeans and H&M button down.

Spotted: Canadian Tuxedo at Skirball Cultural Center

Last night I had the pleasure of accompanying the talented Stanley Bell to Gary Baseman’s The Door Is Always Open at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. I also the pleasure of seeing more Canadian Tuxedos than I could count. There were a few standouts, including this number. Karina Dixon is seen above in an H&M sleeveless denim top, Rag & Bone jeans that fringe bag I am still obsessing over from  Zara.

Spotted: My Neighbor in a Canadian Tuxedo

I always love running into my adorable neighbor, Calvin Radsick, when I’m taking my dog out for a quick spin. I was especially elated to see him in some denim on denim today. Calvin is pictured above in a Volcom denim finish hoodie and Sliq jeans From H&M. His dog, Izzi, is rocking an electric pink hoodie from American Apparel that I kind of want to steal.

Spotted: Canadian Tuxedo at Coffee Commissary in Los Angeles

It’s no secret that Angelenos love their coffee and their denim, so it’s not a surprise I always spot a great Canadian Tux when I hit the Coffee Commissary on Fairfax. Of the four I saw there today, photographer Dan Collopy was definitely rocking the best one. Pictured above, outside of Lindy & Grundy, Dan is in a denim shirt and waxed jeans, both by H&M.
