Holy Sh*t with this Canadian Tuxedo
Can you say PARTY IN THE BACK? OK, so I’ve been somewhat uninspired with this blog and the Canadian Tuxedos I find around Los Angeles. That is until last night, when this magical display of denim appeared at the new Plan Check Kitchen + Bar on Fairfax. Meet Sean Cabezas, who’s seen above in Levi’s jeans, Sperry slip ons (not the denim ones?), an H&M button down, Zara hat and the pièce de résistance: Sean’s dad’s vintage bedazzled denim jacket with a pinned on patch he had made from his favorite film Eyes Wide Shut. Color me inspired.
More Double Denim at Levi’s Haus
An extremely busy few weeks has gotten me all sorts of backed up on blogging, but I have a lot of great stuff in the queue coming your way, starting with this photo of Chris Lakey, vice president of film and TV at Kobalt Music Publishing, who I met at Levi’s Haus a few weeks back. Chris is representing in some Levi’s jeans and a denim jacket by Ralph Lauren.

What’s that? Acne Double Denim at Levi’s Haus
Because what else are you going to wear to a Levi’s party? Last night, outside of the celebrity-studded Levi’s Haus in West Hollywood, I met Jeremy Gabriel head-toe in, what else? Acne Studios. While I love this denim-on-denim ensemble, I cannot take my eyes off of those shoes. Almost amazing as Acne’s new space in Downtown LA.
Spotted: Canadian Tux at Ace Hotel in #DTLA
Last night I had the pleasure of sharing an elevator with Nudie Jeans Brand Manager Chris Adams at the recently opened Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. Of course he was rocking the best denim-on-denim ensemble I saw all night, representing the ever popular Nudie Jeans brand well.

NeNe Leakes in a Canadian Tuxedo on #RHOA
Mrs. Linnethia Leakes was seen in a Canadian Tuxedo at her clubhouse on the Real Housewives of Atlanta last night. She’s pictured above still having fun before leaving early as some of the ladies were up to three hours late. I still don’t get why she’d have a party these ladies, who always seem to be Tardy For The Party … but I do love all the double denim they rock in Hotlanta. Keep it up, ladies.
Spotted: Canadian Tuxedo on Melrose
I caught up with this super stylish Canadian Tuxedo – G-Star Raw jacket and waxed denim jeans – on Melrose in Los Angeles yesterday. And while I was blown away by the waxed denim (slight obsession), I was even more thrilled to find out the model was none other than Thomas Curran, director of food & beverage at Umami Restaurant Group. And anyone who knows me, knows I’m mildly obsessed with their social media efforts and that I’d probably ditch denim for a Hatch Burger. Hell, I’ll even head to the Valley for a Show Dog.
