Spotted: Double Denim in Los Angeles
What is it with the ladies in LA and their denim on Sundays??? Love it. I stumbled upon musician Cindian outside of my friends’ place this morning. (Killer Yard Sale on Stanley & Oakwood if you’re in the area.) The San Diego native is seen here in acid washed Volcom jeans and an H&M denim shirt. Check her music out on Soundcloud. Good stuff, especially now that the sun came out in Los Angeles.
More double denim at the Marvelous Toy show in Los Angeles
Another Canadian Tux spotting at the Marvelous Toy debut album release party at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. This time it was the Mathbot, who was draped in denim – vintage Levi’s jacket and women’s Old Navy jeans, “because they fit the best.” We’re a little unclear from the site what the Mathbot does, but gather he’s in a couple bands and part of some half robot movement – think Blogus Robotticelli and that dude from the LMFAO videos. Is there some secret half robot man society in LA? I must know more.

I had a few Canadian Tuxedo sightings at the Marvelous Toy Not Moving release show at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles. Here is video artist Gabriel Barcia-Colombo in an All Saints denim hoodie and BDG jeans.

I saw John Keefe of Boys Like Girls last night at Darkroom in Los Angeles rocking a very cool Canadian Tuxedo. The Love Drunk drummer was in some Zara jeans with an amazing stitch treatment and an H&M jacket.
Cody Simpson Doll in a Canadian Tuxedo!
I’m not gonna lie. I had to Google Cody Simpson to figure out exactly who he was. #Old. This Australian teen pop sensation is so huge that he actually has a doll created after him. I love the Cody doll already because one of the outfits is double denim. I think I just found my new desk mascot. Now to hit Spotify to check out his music.

Rihanna Rocks ANOTHER Canadian Tuxedo!
Forget her umbrella. These days Rihanna can’t get enough of her denim … on denim. She was seen again working the double denim. This time on X Factor. We’re loving this look. Her Canadian Tuxedos just keep getting better.
