I live in - and for - LA. Obsessed with my dog, social media and denim. I kick it with Hollywood Jesus, and eat like a king ... with princess portions.
The weather cooled off just in time for double denim at the revamped Sunset Strip Market. This season they’re offering tastings from craft breweries and wineries – $16 buys you a tasting glass and set of five drink tickets. At the wine table I saw this Canadian Tuxedo: Levi’s jeans, Earnest Sewn shirt Nike Air Max kicks.
The new market is definitely more food truck-heavy, but you can still pick up some fruits and veggies and holy shit the best thing ever: S’mores from BondBar.
Gah! All that waiting online Friday for passes to Coachella 2015, reminded me I had spotted a few last month at Coachella 2014. I can’t imagine how I could’ve forgotten …
Larry (pictured above) braved the crowds with his broken leg/wheelchair in a Zara jacket and H&M Jorts.
And apparently I ran into Shaun Cruda who’s rocking a Levi’s jacket, H&M top and a Jesus piece (apparently I failed to note who made the shorts) in what looks like the Gobi Tent.
I caught this little number on Pinterest yesterday via Refinery29 with the headline “The Top 6 Reasons You NEED This Hat,” so of course I had to click. Their list is pretty funny and can be found here, and if we had to add a few they would be:
This biker and his pal joined my dog and me in the shade one hot, sunny day in Los Angeles. He’s seen here keeping it real in Levi’s jeans and top, while showing a softer side, bonding with my Yorkie, Rocco.
Sitting pretty next to Jay Z at the Nets game last night. The two even took a few moments to chat with LeBron James. Anyone else as obsessed as we are with this story? Thoughts? Theories? At least Bey looks good in her denim (and anything, really).
Designers Lizzie Kroeze of Facing West, and Mark Warburton of Duffy NYC, showcased some interesting denim pieces last week at Amsterdam Denim Days. The duo design the pieces from old Japanese boro fabrics. Love these pieces as much as me (lots)? For more info and to purchase, please contact Lizzie Kroeze.
Another day, another denim jumpsuit. I’m kind of going crazy for this one I just spotted on Pinterest via Denimology. And, based off their glowing review of this Joe’s Jeans Spaghetti Jumpsuit, I may just have to abandon my bathroom issues that go along with rocking a jumper (ladies, you know what I’m talking about) and pick one of these up to add to my summer wardrobe.
