Last month, I was enlisted by Dodge to attend the New York International Auto Show to see and drive the 2011 Avenger, which reflects the automaker’s new, hip attitude. With a new team of veterans and new blood from the coasts and abroad, it’s no wonder this car is, well, dope. If you don’t believe me, here is a picture of Pieter Hogeveen, Dodge Product Marketing, rocking a Canadian Tuxedo after our team dinner at Gemma in the Bowery Hotel. Doesn’t get much more hip than a little denim on denim. Seriously folks, that look was all over Manhattan.
Ugh. My favorite outfit on my favorite show? Yes, please! I spotted Michiel Huisman, who plays Sonny, was rocking a Canadian Tuxedo in this week’s episode of Treme. Love it. BTW, how intense was that episode? I had to have a couple Sazeracs just to calm down. Whoa.
We love us a little SJP, but we’re not feeling her take on a Canadian Tuxedo. Think the tones are too similar. Each piece separately we love! How cute are those twins? They are getting so big!
My friend, Peter Duggan, and I have a shared interest and love for Detroit, which is unsual since we met in high school in Columbus, Ohio. Like BURN, it’s quite moving (and it made this blog because it features a few Canadian Tuxedos).

There are so many things I can’t support about this Navajo-style Gucci denim shirt. The excessive embroidering. The banded collar. And most insufferable: the $2450 price tag. I seriously think I’d light myself on fire if a guy started talking to me in this shirt.
