What is it with the ladies in LA and their denim on Sundays??? Love it. I stumbled upon musician Cindian outside of my friends’ place this morning. (Killer Yard Sale on Stanley & Oakwood if you’re in the area.) The San Diego native is seen here in acid washed Volcom jeans and an H&M denim shirt. Check her music out on Soundcloud. Good stuff, especially now that the sun came out in Los Angeles.
Another Canadian Tux spotting at the Marvelous Toy debut album release party at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. This time it was the Mathbot, who was draped in denim – vintage Levi’s jacket and women’s Old Navy jeans, “because they fit the best.” We’re a little unclear from the site what the Mathbot does, but gather he’s in a couple bands and part of some half robot movement – think Blogus Robotticelli and that dude from the LMFAO videos. Is there some secret half robot man society in LA? I must know more.
Our twitter friend, drummer Jeff Klein, sent us this vintage Levi’s ad featuring a Canadian Tuxedo! Love it. Such a timeless look.
Oh wow! Some think I have a denim obsession, but it’s definitely nothing close to what this dude is feeling. From Vice:

Lee Harrington: Cotton is a material that ages well and shows the tales of where it has been. I like that about humans as well, that scars tell stories. A great pair of denim jeans will break in and begin to know your skin. Denim clings and moves and becomes you and a part of your being. I adore denim for the feel of it against my lips and love the way that I can perv on it even in public.Oh, OK. Very specific. Is it just wearing denim that turns you on or does looking at other people wear it work for you too? I appreciate both.

Here I am (holding my prize pooch Rocco) in vintage Levi’s cutoffs and my denim Gap jacket from high school (guess that would be considered vintage, as well), Splendid circle shirt, Gucci bag and TOMS gold herringbone shoes.
